First Baptist Church – Mountain View, Arkansas

This team of youth from First Baptist Church, Mountain View, Arkansas, was led by adult MK Grady Spann. This was the first mission trip for this church and the entire community got involved in helping them prepare to come. They ministered in Maciambu, raising the walls on an existing shed in order to provide a covered space for community meetings, children’s ministries, family visits for the residents of NURREVI Drug Rehabilitation Center for Women, etc. While the guys were involved in construction, the girls painted the living room and hallway of the dorm at NURREVI. The girls also conducted Bible School for the children of the neighborhood. During the week, there was also the opportunity to get to know the residents at NURREVI. What a thrill to hear their testimonies on the last day as we gathered to dedicate the new building to the Lord!
