Park Hill Youth Choir – July 17 – 26

A group of sixty-one people from Park Hill Baptist Church in North Little Rock, Arkansas spent a very full 10 days ministering in Greater Florianópolis. Most of them were part of the Park Hill Youth Choir. They sang in three public schools, two churches, for a regional Youth Congress, a Drug Rehab Center and in a grocery store food court and a shopping mall! And that’s not all, during four of the days (Monday through Thursday), the team divided into two groups and held Bible School in 6 locations each day – 3 in the morning and 3 in the afternoon. At each of the presentations, they also performed an evangelistic drama “The Redeemer”, which portrays man’s desperate condition apart from Christ – who gave HIS life to free us from the bondage of sin. They also visited in two different neighborhoods distributing balloon animals, painting faces and handing out evangelistic tracts and invitations. Sixty-one Americans in Brazil are bound to make an impact of some kind wherever they go – and while here, they exuded the fragrance of Christ all over the city!
